"Bayer" Black Resin vs. Master Batch

What is the "Bayer" black resin and masterbatch? Any difference between both? Are there any reliability variance when it is molded out?

Without knowing the specific grades it is difficult to answer your question.

But it sounds to me that the Black Resin is a compound - Which is just resin compounded with colorant.

Whereas a Masterbatch is like a concentrate - a highly color loaded plastic. This would be diluted with a certain % of natural resin before molding. Acting like "kool-aid".

A compound would be molded as is.
