Good Afternoon

I am needing to obtain a certification by an accrediting body for AS9100D Lead facility auditor would anyone have recommendations of who to go with? I am in Ohio and do internal audits for AS9100D / ISO9001:2016 as well as Nadcap.

Best Regards,

I guess more of my question is, would a Probitas auditor certification carry more weight than an ASQ auditor certification

Unless you are intending to work for a CB, I'd doubt that anyone knows who Probitas is. ASQ is more widely recognized - but they don't have a professional status as "Lead Auditor" as such (CQA isn't the same thing).

In the real world nobody cares. I've never once, in 20 years, been asked who I hold my credentials with. Pick one, go for it and be done. Better yet, if you plan on working for someone, ask which they prefer.

With the new Aerospace AS13100 for Lead Auditor certification, they are requiring the SAE International Lead Auditor course. It is not recognized in the industry but required under the requirements of this new standard.
