Thank you so much for your reply. We are a manufacturing company that die casts aluminum castings for our multiple product lines. For years, we too relied on the experience of our operators to determine "acceptable" vs. "scrap" deviations in our castings: porosity, blisters, etc... Our standards consist of "vague" text. As our employee base is changing very rapidly - we have lost much of our experienced inspectors/operators. Our intent is to create visual/pictorial guides/standards to assist ALL operators/personnel in the die cast, machining and assembly areas. As this is ALL very new to me :mg: - - any help/insight/suggestions/recommendations..... ANYTHING to lead me in the right direction is GREATLY appreciated.
