You can type in the name of an individual to see if and how much he/she contributed in the most recent political race or you can type in a zip code and see everyone who made a political contribution - includes to whom and how much.
So my question is this, strictly from a Quality viewpoint:
Does making this information public as soon as it's available (rather than weeks and months after the election as it was in pre-internet days) add any value to the political process?
One thing I learned is poor Marc lives in a neighborhood heavily skewed to one party in terms of the number and dollar amount of donations going to politicians from one party compared to another. My own neighborhood, which I had considered to be primarily skewed toward one party, is, in fact, pretty evenly distributed this year.
