Good afternoon! In an effort to met our customers' (perhaps read "customer's") tough cosmetic requirements for stainless steel parts, we are considering a separate workstation for 100% inspection under moderate magnification. A brainstorming moment gave me the idea reflected in the thread title; some preliminary searches have turned up little applicable info. Does anybody have any experience regarding:
-Rob
- the effectiveness of using UV or blacklight to inspect SS parts for nicks, bump, blemishes, or easy-to-miss cosmetic defects, or;
- any regulatory or exposure concerns concerning the same.
