Following on Andy's "observation"
it's the content of the report that counts. I think it's good for auditors to report everything they see and hear that they think might be noteworthy. Then decisions can be made as to how to approach each "thing." Some might require CA, some may develop into PA, and others might hold no special significance.
How about just observations?

But then aren't your right back to the same thing as one would want to know what sort of observation (conforming, nonconforming, needs improvement) you were making?

More important still is the content of the audit findings...
