You can click on the "Currently Active Users" link to find out who's online and what they are doing. You'll find that a lot of those 'guests' are actually search engine spiders and are doing things that won't be seen in the view you described.

What you see will depend upon your classification. Those who register see the items in attachment 1. Contributors see what is in attachment 2. Moderators see all but IP addresses. Super Moderators and admins can see the IP.
Doing a Who's Online is a relatively intensive database operation. Particularly when one wants to add location and such. That's why contributors see an extra 'field'. They've contributed towards paying for the server load and bandwidth.
