Hi, I now working for an organization which has a portable surface tester. We use a precision reference standard to calibrate daily and have been using this standard for 15 years.... Question #1: Should I contact an organization to have the standard calibrated or just buy another one?
Question #2: We are using the surftester to get Rz and Ra on a cross hatch powdered metal surface, should we also have a cross hatch precision standard?
