Hello; I just jumped into the world of researching ISO 9001 to be implemented in our companies.
We have come to that point of time that our customers require us to have an ISO 9001 certification.
So let me just point out that our area of expertise is very wide; we deal with everything from insurance cases to shipping, to construction requirements (national laws)
We have two subsidiaries in our holding company - one deals with the construction requirements and another one deals with insurance cases and shipping.
My question is:
If our holding company gets an broad ISO 9001 QMS approved; can our subsidiaries use the approved ISO 9001 QMS and be classified as ISO 9001 certified if the holding company’s ISO 9001 QMS is enforced on the two subsidiaries, even though the two subsidiaries are two 'separate' legal companies?
