Can two business units share a TS certificate?

Hello. I have a question that I hope you all can help me with.

I have a plant with two separate "business units" that share some processes and equipment. They are part of the same company but are separate entities. For many years now, there has been one TS certificate for the facility that was shared by both "companies".

I have been told that this is no longer allowed. Is there any way that I can verify this?

Talk to your certification body. They would need to know, as they are the ones that have to administer it.
