Can you use pencil to sign documents, fill out forms, etc?

Records and everything else can be kept in blood, mud, paint, grease, lemon juice, chicken drippin's or anything else that is decided to be appropriate by the organization unless some requirement or regulation states otherwise...AND AS AN AUDITOR, I COULDN'T CARE LESS

Again, this was my point exactly.

There are important aspects to our record keeping that need to be corrected...whether one signature or one line on a form was filled in by pen or pencil shouldn't matter.

It is I that thank you. It just seems to make for such a better discussion topic when the original poster (that be you) checks on their threads, make follow-up posts, addresses questions/confusions, etc.
