What state is the roofing business in? I am in Pennsylvania and will be requiring a quote on my garage roof - I am not kidding I would get a quote from him just to sit and listen to his theories!

Bill reamed many people unnecesarily, Mike. You're quick to condemn, but you don't have to keep peace in these forums. You bitch and complain but you keep coming back. Like Bush II, you speak but can't back anything up. You wanted dead Americans at any cost - You're getting plenty of them!

You have fought me from word 1 as a conservative. More power to you. But you brought this up to 'spite' me and I don't appreciate it.

You don't know the story of what happened between energy (you never even asked me...), yet you 'insinuate'. Since you see this forum as 'deficient', I'm sure you really don't want to participate. This forum is about quality assurance and related topics - Not your disgruntledness about my not being a conservative.

As have you and I.
People come and go as the years roll by - for any number of reasons. Some change fields. Some are't 'internet' people. Others get mad. Some didn't like when I started charging. Can't be everything to everyone all the time.

So it goes as it does in everyday life. As I go through old posts - going back to the first 'BBS' type forums in 1997, a lot of different people have participated. IThe poll says six 1997 originals are still around, or have been within the last year. I used to visit a lot more boards and sites in years past, and participated here more, than I do now.

There was more to it than that:

This is a strange post, but bear with me. I have missed a few day of reading and posting. My new boss is suffering from “Not closing sales” syndrome. He is now looking at somebody to take out his frustrations. It's me. We went toe to toe this week on what I do on a daily basis. He has stood over my shoulder and looked at the Cove with the moving emoticons and doesn’t have a clue as to what my day is like. It looks like fun. And, it is! However, he may be right. I finish all my stuff, as I see it. He wants more. He wants me more involved in the business. Like, he wants to spend more time on the road selling and needs me to take over the office. This requires more input from him. I insisted. Well, now I’m getting the heretofore sacred information and have to deal with it. I can’t spend the time reading all the posts to ensure that everybody is behaving. Moderators should jump right in and don’t assume that I will do something. Marc’s recent deletion of the post involving child molestation/murder from Wallace, is a good example of what I have in mind. Child molestation/murder posts was ready for the knife, but, I didn’t have the time to do it. I’m under the gun and have no options at the tender age of 61, so I’ll deal with it. Love you all. Yuk Yuk.
