CE TCF (Technical Construction File) Template for LVD/EMC/Pressure Directive

Hello,

After looking extensively on web and as well as in this forum, I am still trying to find a template for CE Technical Construction file for LVD (Low Voltage Directive), EMC (Electromagnetic) and or Pressure Directive.

I found some examples of Table of contents but some too short and some are too lengthy and not specific to the directives that I am looking for.

To a certain extent, the Directives tell you the information you need to document.

That said, I'm not sure you'll find a free example as people create these for companies for a fee.

Just to add to that - many manufacturers make a range of products, and where this is the case a properly constructed Technical File covering multiple products or variants in a range can save time/money.

So by "document" what can kind of documentation do you mean?

Also I can across some Table contents/ Index for certain specific directives in the forum, I was wondering if anyone has a table of contents for LVD , EMC (Electromagnetic) and or PED? So I can have some kind of check list to complete.

There's no mandatory format.
My recommended approach is to create a word document that contains all the references to supporting documentation such as test plans, test report, schematics, Quality Systems.
The references can either be hyperlinks to the documents of just document numbers AND revision level if the information is contained in a suitable Product Data Management system.

That way you can access all the required data, but haven't wasted time duplicating.
