I am ABSOLUTELY, CATEGORICALLY and ADAMANTLY
AGAINST cell phones while driving. The only time I
need to talk on the phone is when I'm at work or at home - I don't need to talk while commuting nor does anyone else!

Not exactly on topic, but sort of... And while we're at it, I'm also against cell phones in public places (Theaters, Plays, Restaurants, etc.)! ...and for God's sake, why do you need a cell phone at the grocery store!? Make a list before you go - and if you aren't sure if you're supposed to pick up (peas or carrots), GET BOTH or MAKE AN EXECUTIVE DECISION!!! These things annoy me almost beyond words.
(in case you couldn't tell - I don't own one) I suppose at some point, I'll succumb, but I'm quite certain when I finally do "break down" it will be turned off 95% of the time! I can think of two instances where, when I had a 35-mi. commute, I could have used one when I was stuck in stand-still traffic due to an accident; just so the folks at home didn't have to worry.
My whole thought is, "why should I purchase something that will more than double my phone bill, just so I can be annoyed 24-7?" When I'm in the car, I don't need to be bothered. When I'm at a show, I'm there to enjoy the show - AWAY from all the other distractions of life... THAT'S WHY I BOUGHT TICKETS IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! ...and I'm capable of making that all important decision as the supermarket too!
...ok, I'm through now...
