Challenge Supplier Process Audits to VDA 6.3

Hello,

a question. If a supplier is asked in the automotive industry from the OEMs to audit its processes according to VDA 6.3.

What action should the company do?

Internal auditors according to VDA 6.3 form, properly so ?!

Do you have any more suggestions ??

Hello,

I don't understand exactly the question.
If the company has proved VDA 6.3/6.5 internal auditors then they can conduct audit in house based on VDA audit form but if the company not, then they have to apply 3. party company. In most of cases the OEM required VDA audit with such a VDA auditor who has VDA QMC certificate as well. Please read the OEM's supplier quality manual about it.
