Change color or shape of individual data point in control chart

Hello

I want to highlight a few points on control charts by either using a different color or different shape. But I can't seem to find an option to format a single data point. If I change the formatting, the formatting of the entire data set changes.

Is there a way to change the color/shape of a single data point in a control chart?

Yes, you can do this. The first time that you select a point and click it, the entire series of points are selected. Click on the desired point a second time, then that point alone is selected. You can then right-click on the point to edit the shape and/or color of that single point.

Awesome thanks Miner - I had tried this before. But for me clicking on a 2nd time doesn't do the trick. I need to click a 3rd time.

@Miner: can I go one step further and ask whether there is a shortcut to apply same formatting to multiple data points. Like in word/excel, there is a format painter option. At the moment, I have to edit 22 data points in green squares. but I have to right click and make the changes 22 times. Can this be done a faster way?

Unfortunately not. Minitab's edit functionality is a little primitive. When you multi-select points, the edit function is disabled.
