Did anyone watch the WAC game last night between Boise State and Nevada? WOW!!!

Typical WAC game.....1200+ yards total offence.....Boise State won 69-67.....in 4 OTs.....

Hopefully soon, Cal will have to play someone who is actually good instead of just ranked that way and then all will be right with the universe: Tigers and Buckeyes ranked #1 and #2.
I really love college football.

Cal has back to back losses to unranked Oregon State and UCLA (at home I might add). LSU beats Auburn despite a wacky call in the last 16 seconds. If BC hadn't played Bye this weekend, I think the universe would be in harmony.

That may be the first time I've enjoyed an SEC game that wasn't a conference championship. As for the Gamecocks being SEC patsies and Spurrier not helping, LSU 28, SC 16. Sure he was 11-1 against LSU, AT FLORIDA. Coaching Gators and coaching Gamecocks are not the same, even today, prosecution rests.

I just enjoyed another SEC game: LSU Auburn was AWESOME! Further evidence for the prosecution: Vandy Commodores 17, SC Gamecocks 6.

Stanford isn't to the maturity of beating anyone, let alone ND. I normally don't like USC, but I think the University of Spoiled Children will hang 70 on the domers.

Stanford 24, USC 23?! USC 38, ND 0. Don't go to Vegas.

I'm proud to be a Bulldog, even though the season is not going as well as hoped.

Vandy has been a long-time whipping boy for the rest of the SEC. It appears that is coming to an end.

It looks like the Dogs prevailed over Bye this past weekend. As for Vandy, apparently they have decided to give up the whipping post to South Carolina.

If the top 4 unbeaten teams (Ohio State, Boston College, Arizona State and Kansas) all win out, it will be interesting to see if their schedule strength and poll votes will be enough to overcome LSU's position with 1 loss. I don't think that ASU or KU can prevail the rest the season....so can BC overcome LSU in the BCS rank? Unbeaten with a lame schedule or 1 loss with a tough schedule?

Huh? MS State BEAT Kentucky, and IN Kentucky? Still, MS State is a WEST team and Kentucky is an EAST team, so Kentucky is still very much in the SEC East race.....as is Florida (subject to today) and South Carolina.....

Nebraska up on Texas?

That means the over-rated Trojans are effectively out of the National Championship AND the Pac-10 races.....

Now, under 3 minutes to go.....Dawgs up by 12.....Dawgs have played a heck of a game.....if FL loses then they have an uphill battle for the East part of the title.....not impossible, as LSU in 2001 and Arkansas in 2002 went to the title game with three conference losses.....but unlikely to say the least.....

And remember, there has only been TWICE that the SEC Champion has had TWO conference losses.....less than a dozen with one loss AND a tie.....NEVER, EVER with THREE conference losses.....

Thanks, Icy. There was a Notre Dame fan around as my friends and I were watching the game. I started barking and she left... The Florida fan just cowered in the corner, after running his mouth all morning.



Have not heard how the Buckeyes did. Crashed early to get up and go to the woods. It would be fun to have them play an SEC team for the championship...again.

The Buckeyes turned Joe Pa's white out into lights out, 37-17. It really wasn't close; the Lions scored a touchdown in the 4th quarter on a kickoff return. That consarned Bent Mooseburger said "It looks like it's going to be a looooong night for the #1 Buckeyes", in the first quarter when PS were up 7-3 after each team had scored on their first possession. At the beginning of the 4th quarter with the score 24-10, he started talking about the Bucks like they'd already won not just that game but the next 3: and I quote, "These guys are even better than the 2002 Championship Team.":mybad: I can't stand that guy even when he's ranting on about the Buckeyes like their an SEC team or USC or something.

It would be fun to have them play an SEC team for the championship...again.

No thanks, we want to play somebody undefeated from a good conference...like the the ACC, PAC-10 or the Big 12. Assuming winouts...BC, ASU and KU are all going to end up ranked above LSU.
