I am suggesting powder coating since you have steel tools which I don’t believe can be anodized. Pending on the number of tools you have displayed this may be an avenue to approach. Powders are hard and durable and come in a plethora of bright colors. Because you have bead blasted the tools the hard work is over, apply some powder and bake at 400*F in an oven. I have done small jobs in a home oven. (hope mom does not visit these forums) Powdercoating, like most part surfacing, is 90 percent preparation.

Downside you are going to need to etch the parts again.

You are correct, they cannot be anodized.


Where would I look for powder paint off the shelf? We have an oven in our maintenance shop that would do the baking for us.

Eastwood has smaller kits for powder coating - been around for a while for garage mechanics and restorers.
