Hello to everybody,
my name is Gianpiero and I'm a Quality Manager of an European division that produces Engineering Plastics.
We are certified ISO/TS16949:02 and I'm looking to improve our auditing methods.
Our German subsidiary found the attached check list that I think is fantastic, but unfortunately it's in German language.
Can you help me?
Does any one have something similar in English?
Thanks in advance.

I *think* there is a combined ISO 9001 - TS 16949 audit form in English here somewhere. Did you check the attachments listing and look in the pdf_files directory (https://Elsmar.com/pdf_files/ )?

I don't speak or read German so I can't help with a translation.

I posted an ISO 9001:2000 / TS 16949:2002 checklist here:

https://elsmar.com/elsmarqualityforum/threads/6475/.

It's not really the same as what you posted, but it may be useful to you. The IATF is really pushing for process-related audits though, not clause-by-clause checklists.

It looks like the German checklist you have there just lists the requirements of the standard, along with a list of sources of evidence that you might look at to verify the requirements. That's very similar to the QSA2 checklist that the IATF published when TS 16949:2002 came out, then obsoleted earlier this year. You may still be able to buy that from AIAG or other international sources.

Thank you.
However my uploaded Excel file is focused on audit by processes and the usefulness is related to the fact that when preparing an audit you can filter by process or by requirement of the norm and you get your check list automatically.
Anyway, thanks.
Have a nice weekend.
