We have a gauge, A, which repeatability is 9um for our production measurement. Now, we are purchasing another gauge, B, which repeatability is 30um for our production to lower our cost. We use gauge A to make a master piece to calibrate gauge B. Here are my questions,
1. What should I do to verify that the gauge repeatability is 30um? What I am trying to do is to set up a acceptance criteria for gauge B.
2. In our case, we will select 5 parts which cover our product tolerance and each part will be measured by gauge B 10 times, and then calculate GRR. Is GRR enough to verify this gauge?
3. How do I link the measurement result of gauge B with gauge A?
