Sorry, Andy, I know I'm not giving enough info. Ok, here's what happened, Thursday last week I had an ISO/AS re-audit. One of the findings (minor) was: the previous manager (I'm new with the company, 2wks) didn't do any internal audit of the Configuration Management for an entire year. Now, I have 30 days to get this done, as well as address the 6 other findings. As you can see I'm on a tight schedule. My experience has mostly been ISO9001, ASME, PED, API, ATEX, QS9000, OSHA, Lean Mfg. So as you can see, AS9100 is new territory for me. Which means I'll probably be using this website ALOT!! Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks folks.

Basically, your checklist should come from the organization's documentation (process map, procedure, etc) - you are there, after all, to see if the company process is being implemented the way it's defined and that it's effective. No other source of checklist etc is likely to reveal that key, important result of the audit. So, IMHO, it's best to write your own list, to the depth that you feel comfortable. Also, can you take someone with you that knows CM and can guide you either in planning or doing the audit?
