Dear Group,
I recently bought a new IEC standard EN-60601-2-37:2007, and I am slightly confused with the numbering scheme of this standard.
The old version of this standard has section (chapter) numbers like
1
1.1
2 .. .etc
The new one has the chapters and section organized like:
201.1
201.1.2 i.e. all clauses start with 201. I do not know what this "201" is with reference to or how I am supposed to read it?
Even though the standard is a 2nd revision, I think it is supposed to work with the 3rd edition of 60601-1. Maybe that has something to do with it.
can anyone shed some light upon this?
regards
