Is the contractor working on your site? Will the contractor be using his or her equipment, or your equipment to do this work? What are the risks associated with your contractor's work? Are those risks limited to the contractor's safety only, or could they involve risk to others as well? What do your national and local regulations say about what is required for the contractor's activities? Does your contractor carry his or her own liability insurance? There are many factors to consider. It is almost all about the type of work done, by whom and where.
