We're a tier 1 (and 2) automotive supplier (plastics). We're just 'getting into' the TS requirements. Looking for a 'template' to convert or ideas. Can we do ourselves?? Consult would be how much $$$? Thanks for your help...Bill W

We are a tier 2 plastic injection moulder going for our TS 16949 stage 2 audit next week and we have pretty much done all the work in-house, with the exception of training (in Core tools, Internal auditors and 2 Lead auditors) and one Gap analysis after around 6 months (just to check we were heading the the right direction). All in we have directly spent around £ 8,000 (not including the fees for the certification process), there are other associated costs to do with the cost of having an employee dedicated full time as well as in-house training costs which we have not quantified yet.

Best of luck anyway
