According to the TS req., the COP (Customer oriented process) should be identified. But it's confusing for me for the identification about them. Who has practical experience in this? I appreciate your points and experience teaching.
Best Regards! :thanx:

:agree1: Dear Steelwoman and ralphsulser,
Thank you very much! :thanks:
According to these information, if I can conclude as following,
COPS means the processes which target of service is customer's requirements;
SOPS means the processes which target of service is processes in the COPS,
MOPS means the processes which target of service is some decision and orders for the running of COPS, SOPS and the whole system.
Am I right?
Welcome your comments!
Best Regards!

I think that this is a good way of putting it.
Another is I think

COP's - what to do for the customer
SOP's- how to help doing the COP's
MOP's- how to control the COP'S and MOP's

From my experience when using these terms with companies at first it is a totally foreign language but with a little thought it is quite sensible.
Just another jargon phrase, it shows that you are a player in the big game of automotive quality.

Dear Mr.Howard Atkins,
I prefer your identification, they're conciser than mine.
As your said, I attended qs9000 auidtor certification course held by Plexus 2002, but unfortunately, I couldn't pass it. It's a continuous improvement process for every player in this big game. I'd like to find the root theory behind the regulation, I'd like to find a easy way to deal with the complicated problem. I like your comments for COPS, SOPS and MOPS.
There's a Chinese adage for you: the older ginger is hotter than the younger ginger.
It's in Chinese. (姜还是老的辣!)
Thanks & Best Regards! :biglaugh: :thanx:
