Should a CQI 9 self assessment be carried out independently at each manufacturing site of a company? I would guess yes, but where exactly is that specified?

Yes. There is no specific wording that I am aware of. However, I am sure your customer would expect it at all sites.

Also, the assessment requires that you have an on-site specialist, check the monitoring data every 24hrs and conduct annual assessments of the process on the site...so I would say by default that means all sites.
