CRM (Customer Relationship Management) integrated with QMS.

Hi friends,

Being already ISO 9001:2008, we are planning to embark on a Customer Relationship Management Journey. Any advice or experiences on how to integrate both management systems e.g. CRM & QMS.

Note we are in the Insurance sector.

CRM is simply a tool in a process. I use a CRM database tool everyday to do my job, so it's just part of a process.

To integrate, there must be common grounds and the CRM soft-wares that I know of doesn't seem to have much common ground with a QMS. 'Link' could be a better descriptor - you link CRM to marketing and customer service. Just like what Andy said - it is just a tool.
