Keep him in your conference room or office. Retrieve any documentation requested as long as it is related to his job and is not proprietary. Always have someone accompany him, even when he goes to the washroom. If you can remove sensitive documents from your shop floor, you can even give him a tour. If not, then only show him the area where his job is running. You should control his access at all times. See post 26 in the thread 3rd party audit time - Does working lunch count as audit time for suggestions on lunch.

I audited a large Design center that served all three Big 3 OE's. The building had three customer conference rooms, one for each customer. This ensured confidentiality on new programs.
