Customer-Designated Special Characteristics vs. Special Characteristics

What is the difference in 8.2.3.1.2, “Customer-Designated Special Characteristics” and 8.3.3.3, “Special Characteristics”?

8.2.3.1.2 is about meeting your "customer's" requirements for special characteristics.

8.3.3.3 you are determining special characteristics your organization determines are needed, including the customer's.

Hi,

I think it would be better if IATF change the title of clause 8.2.3.1.2 such as follows:

- customer requirements for special characteristics, or
- special characteristics- customer specified procedure

Because the title inspires that the intention of the requirement would be about the special characteristics specified by customer.
