Customer requies 'Jet Test' on a Car Part (Electronics Connectors)

hi Covers,
our R&D have recently decided to change plastic material used in a housing for an electronic part used on cars.
When the customer got our notification, including a very detailed presentation of the changed material, they requested that we do a 'jet test twice with connectors mated and removed'.
My colleagues in R&D aren't quite sure what a 'jet test' is. Has anyone had any experience and is there a specification / norm / standard for this test? :confused:
