Ok. I got such a good response with my most recent question that I am going to give it another go.
We are a multi-facility, multi-national company. We manufacture over 200,000 different part numbers and have over 10,000 customers.
For our automotive business, we are mostly designed in by OEM but actually shipping to first or second tier. As a result, we have to monitor not only the OEM but also the second and third tiers customer specific requirements and websites.
With our TS - and a cut in resources - we are having trouble with monitoring of all of the different websites we are supposed to monitor without having a dedicated resource at each facility.
It was recently recommended to me that we use a web crawler to help us with this monitoring. http://www.ipoint-systems.com/index.php?id=104
Has anyone used this and how does everyone else manage these ever growing lists of customer websites we are supposed to monitor?
