Additional question on the same situation:

the parts received by the client - should they not be treated as customer supplied products and subject the parts to inspection at receiving stage. When does so,
Problem arises: customer does not want prefer any report if discrepancies are observed!
How does he tackle the situation?
Has anybody suggestions?


You do it anyway.

If the Customer doesn't want to see it, fine. You write one anyway to cover yourself and follow your own Customer Supplied Product Procedure. There are liability concerns here. A few weeks or months later you submit a bill for work or modifications and they say, "We did not send that Product to you in the condition that your bill indicates it was received in."
