Daimler Chrysler´s PSO - Language requirement
Hi,
The Daimler Chrysler´s PSO (Process sign-off) says… “All PSO documentation shall contain English text. Supplemental foreign language translations are permitted to facilitate communications among team members. However, the English version constitutes the official record.”
My company is located in Mexico and all the work instructions are in Spanish, so, every time that we need to carry on a PSO it implies a really big effort to translate all the work instructions to the english.
My question is: Is it possible to avoid, elude or renegotiate this requirement (for work instructions only)? We consider that it doesn´t make too much sense to translate documents that are exclusively used in our production floor. Does TS 16949 says something related to?
I´ll appreciate your comments
