Old Question:
I have set-up a wireless network for home, using a D-Link Wireless Router hooked to a cable modem. My roommate has a Toshiba Satellite Laptop (OS: Windows XP Pro) and I have a desktop (*OS: Windows XP Pro).
My problem is:
1. Router has been set with WEP security (I set that up). My desktop has no problems connecting to the Router. My roommate's Laptop states "can't find/verify identity." I had to use the Laptop to set-up the router.
I have tried to delete the connection and re-setup but the same issue. Originally when hooking up (setting security) the Laptop had wireless connection and the desktop didn't.
Any suggestions on how to connect the Laptop?
