Delivery Transportation - Asking about outsourced process clause 4.1

Dear Friends

i am working at lamp factory the delivery of lamp to market is not outsourced process


every agent come to the factory with his car and loading the lamp and transport it to his store

may be in the transportation the lamp had been defect due to his speed or his driven

and may be the end user find that the lamp is not working when he buy it from the agent

so , i ask .have i a commitement to control and evalute the transportation of lamp ?

and is this belong to outsourced process ?

Does the "agent" buy the product from you? If yes, then your company's responsibility for handling the product may end when the agent takes possession. Any damage as a result of rough handling will be his. Your responsibility for the quality of the product may not end obviously.

So, when the agent owns the product and transports his merchandise to his store, it is not an outsourced process.

Transporting in the present case is not an outsourced process-for one, you are not paying for it-secondly, you are selling your product Ex-works. You have neither ethical nor legal resposibility for any damage occuring due to mis-handling during transport. But you have to ensure that every lamp is defect free before loading. (To the best of my knowledge, there is 100% inspection for lamps).

2. It is not in your hands to control the transportation system of your agents. You may on your own, evaluate and suggest improvement in transport system. Another area for improvement could be packaging.

if i pay for indivedual drivers to transport lamp is this will outsourced process

secone question :
even the agent purchased the lamp from the factory but i think every customer will have a defect lamp will claim my factory not the agent , and this will be a bad matter for product and its name , because bad transportation may affect the life time of lamp

what the different between purshaced serivces and outsourced process
