An article in the April MD&DI magazine references a survey of medical device firms that lists the most important characteristics looked for when hiring RA and QA personnel. Included in the list were good writing and verbal skills. Interestingly, listed as lacking in the majority of applicants seen was good writing skills.

Actually, I probably would have said, "Good writing and verbal skills were included on the list.":notme:

Nitpicking like this is why I don't have many friends.

I have moved this post to this forum Occupational discussions since it is in regards to weaknesses found during the interview process for QA/RA positions.

That's no fair. You edited the original post. Now no one can see what I did.
If you would like I can re-edit the post and put back how it was originally stated :biglaugh: but there is no need since when you quoted the post it reflects that actual first written word

Actually, Doug would probably like Howard's first post to be deleted as well as his second, plus Coury's, which further emphasizes the gaffe, since his original gaffe is now brightly limned in THREE posts.:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Probably, Doug would have been better off taking the hit and posting :mg::eek::eek::eek: instead of trying to sweep it under the carpet.
Now I have added to poor Doug's discomfiture! What can I say? We all need a thick skin from time to time and we have to learn to laugh at our minor slips (otherwise, we'll spend too much time wiping away tears.):truce::truce::truce:

One of life's lessons that I've managed to grasp is the need to laugh at one's self from time to time. My error reminds me of one of my high school English teacher's evaluation of my spelling abilities - something to the effect that I was very creative (I think she was being sarcastic).:notme:

While on this subject, is there such a thing as 'rottenest' apple? I think everybody got the meaning (so the communication was successful) but the word! - from what I was taught is not right.
