Hello,
Can anyone advise how to conduct an attribute R&R on a destructive test without upper or lower spec limits? I cannot find this in AIAG MSA v4.
This is for an impact tester that destroys the test sample when impacted.
Visual review/assessment of the surface of the impacted test sample leads the assessor to conclude either pass or fail.
Failure is defined as removal of paint on impacted surface in excess of boundary sample.
There is no lower limit.
There is only too much paint removed after impact(fail) or not(pass).
The purpose of the R&R is to be able to confidently detect good vs. bad parts, not process control.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thx
