Determining Fuse Rating and Labeling - Medical Device Crash Cart

Our ME product plugs into a card in a standard computer which is mounted on a crash cart. The cart has an isolation transformer. We purchase the cart and it has fuse holders which are loaded with 3.15A fuses and marked as such. I add a label where the power cord plugs in telling VAC/Hz/A along with the type B "little man" symbol. The current on this label is what the whole system draws. Our distributor is telling me having both these values for current on the cart makes it confusing. I am trying to look through 60601-1 to see if there is language to support the labeling either way. Do I need to include the actual current draw on a label, or is the fuse rating all that is needed?

Second part, is having a fuse rating of 2X our current draw acceptable, or is there more to it than that?

Clause 7.2.7 (Ed. 3)
The rated input shall be given in amperes or volt-amperes or where the power factor exceeds 0.9 in watts.
Clause 7.2.12
Where the fuse-holder is an accessible part the type and full rating of the fuse (voltage, current, operating speed and breaking capacity) shall be marked adjacent to the fuse-holder.
So both markings are required.

As to whether 2x current is the right rating for the fuse (seems high to me); well the ratings of the fuses must be such that hazards are prevented during single fault condition tests (motor stalls etc.).

So following 7.2.6 & 7.2.7 it makes sense that our label for input power looks like:

~210-230V / 50-60Hz / 1.5A

I will point our distributor to those sections of 60601-1.
