What is the difference between requirement for 4.4.1a (inputs) and 4.4.1d (resources needed)? As I see in ISO 9002:2016 inputs can be materials, equipment etc., and resources are, among others, monitoring and measuring resources (also equipment).
So, 4.4.1d includes 4.4.1a (inputs)??

Inputs are things that are consumed by the process and/or become part of the output. Think of them as transactional.

Resources are things that are always there as part of the process.

Frying eggs:

- eggs and butter are inputs
- frying pan, stove, spatula, etc. are resources

eggscellent example, Duke. Also think in terms of data whether it comes from your computers and equipment or from someone telling you a measurement as input. the machine or the person was the resource.
