Can someone please help me, im taking stat 2 in college eight now and I am so lost. This is what I have

Friday's [SIZE=-1]labs
Use the House Prices data where we have selling prices for several houses
located in three different areas (Sunny Haven, Easy Acres, Rolling Hills). We'd like
to know if there are differences among the three locations with respect to mean
selling price for all houses[/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1][/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]Does anyone know where I would start with this??[/SIZE]

Minitab has several options for this scenario. You have one factor at three levels.

Your analysis choices in Minitab include a One-way ANOVA followed by a multiple comparisons of Means in the sub-menu. For three levels, I recommend Fisher's test. The other choice is ANOM.

One-way ANOVA tests the effect of changing area. The multiple comparison of means tells you which areas are different from the other.

ANOM tests each area for a difference from the Grand Mean of all areas.

So these tests answer slightly different questions. The way your question is stated, it sounds like ANOM would be the correct approach.
