Hello Everyone,
Currently, our team is developing a CO2 incubator. For every incubator, temperature stability is a critical factor & for testing of it, there is a DIN 12880 (Electrical laboratory devices - Heating ovens and incubator) standard according to which most of the companies claim the temperature stability. There is one most important line mentioned in clause 7.2 which provides information regarding the selection of temperature sensors. Can anyone provide its exact interpretation?
Clause 7.2 - Test Equipment :
"The measuring device for the temperature tests, consisting of temperature sensors and registration, must enable the determination of temperature differences between the measuring points with a maximum expanded measurement uncertainty of 33% of the resolution of the temperature display of the heating or incubator (see 6.1.2) and should have a response time (t0 ,9) of max. 5 s."
Thanks in advance.
