Disabling Copy Paste option in MS Word

We can make "protect" the document with a password such that there are no unwanted changes.

how to control(or remove) the copy-paste option from the document.

One of the option I tried is to create a 'macro' in the name of "cut" and "copy" such that, those no one cay copy/cut the details away.
BUT the problem is that these macros are applicable to local machine (not specific to the document). so when we open the document in other machines, ppl are still able to cut/copy the details... Further, when we open uncontrolled documents, there, thiese macros are becoming limitations.

any clue!
thank you in advance.

Have you considered .pdf files for controlled documents people can access? You can protect .pdf files from copy/paste.

Just an additional note
There are a number of freeware programs available to print documents to PDF with out watermarks or other comments
I believe that the new office programs also have this function.

Printing anything to a .pdf file is built into Mac OS X - I thought it was built into Windows these days, too.

Yes, that is an definite/simple option;
But, whenever the document is printed, we want to append the "current <date & time>"

I browsed through couple of elsmar-discussions; and other technical-notes/forums in the internet, but could not find a way to successfully implement an "dynamic date-time" in the footer of adobe doc.

But dynamic "date & time" + "Ready-only-protection" is pretty simple in MS-WORD but am having trouble in restricting cut-copy options from there.
(actually i got struck in the preparing a "dynamic stamp" in adobe)

I have often circumvented "no copy" and "no print" restrictions by simply printing screen shots, especially of images and the like. As long as something can be brought up on a screen, it can be copied. I don't usually go further, but I suppose a determined copier could then either retype text or crop the screen shot to reproduce the image.

The question one has to answer, I suppose, is what risk is faced when "someone" makes an unauthorized copy of a document and whether security is better served by restricting who may even see the document at all. My daughter has a cell phone which makes high definition photos - I suppose, if she chose, she could photograph computer screens or hard copy documents much the same way spies used tiny cameras during WWII. Today, I saw a pen/video recorder offered for sale in an ad in the NY Times for under $40. I suppose a "spy" or any person with nefarious intent could record anything he/she might see or hear, whether on a computer screen or in person.

Maybe the only solution is to have everyone with access to sensitive material strip nude;)

Anyways, the point being considered is about the "designing a system" which will minimize/eliminate the possibilities of duplications/manipulations.
when anyone has to take a print for operational purpose, he has to have date/time print on footer. now if we leave the copy/cut options away, that leaves a option for duplication/manipulation!!!

Adobe Acrobat has the ability to format and create a custom dynamic stamp. (PDF)

I could still manipulate it by printing my own time stamp and physically cutting/pasting it from another piece of paper and copying it. Or I could use Photoshop. Or I could retype the entire document in the word processor of my choice.

Even the US Treasury knows you can only make counterfeiting harder, not prevent it 100%. Most businesses get along fine with read only documents and PDFs. Seems like you are making something that is a very minor risk a major hassle.
