Hi all,
Quick question hopefully I will get a very helpful answer.
I'm in the process of migrating our QM to AS9100 Rev C from Rev B, in our procedures we have a procedure "Shipping" 7.5.6. From what I can see there is no such procedure in ISO or AS9100. I am lead to assume that this procedure was written and numbered by someone in my organization, before I was here.
My question is : Can a company create a Procedure and number it, if it is non existent in the actual Standards - ISO 9001:2008 or AS9100 Rev C ?
In my novice opinion the answer should be no because there would be no need to set standards if anyone could create some as they please.
