I always read a comic a day. I'm not that big on superheroes, more things like Beetle Bailey, Zits, Betty and so on. I've got somewhere in the vicinity of 1.000 comics, and when I've read 'em all, I simply start all over
I have a collection of vintage horror (tomb of dracula, etc) and x-men comics. The X-men were always so varied that they stayed interesting. There are a few sci-fi comics in there as well. Like V.
My brother and I collected x-men trading cards when we little.
I like the graphic novels by Alan Moore (From ****, Promethia) and Neil Gaiman.
A friend got me interested in the Xmen back around 1980 and I still have a box of ~150 issues from the late 70's and 80'. And a few other assorted Marvel comics from that era.
With the Xmen so popular now, maybe I should go on Ebay and see what they might be worth. Perhaps I could clear out a closet and go on a nice vacation.

Alan Moore is a great writer. Watchmen is one of the best limited series ever.
But his next release is essentially a pornographic work called "Lost Girls", written with Melinda Gebbie. Neil Gaiman is also great.. he's got a new limited series coming out this month "The Eternals"
Claes and Gert - I read the comic strips in the paper just about every day.
I'm a long time fan of Doonsbury and have the whole collections of Calvin and Hobbes and Bloom County published in books.
There was a girl in my high school (not to typecast- but she was a blond cheerleader). One day we were talking about comic and reading them in French. Well, she said she didn't like Calvin and Hobbs because it didn't make sense to her. We all looked at her and said, "_____, Hobbs is a stuffed animal." She spent the last part of the week going back through the cartons in books and in her head laughing at the stuff she hadn't gotten before. It was pretty funny to see she excitement at getting them (she tied for salutiorian of our class- which many found odd)
mmmm... Dilbert... I got in trouble for having the desktop Dilbert calendar at work 2 years ago. People kept paging through it when I was gone, coping pages and leaving them on managers and others desks. I have to keep it at home now.
