Looking for a source of FDA statistics data...
The 2014 Annual Report on Inspections of Establishments reports that in 2013 there were 21,853 (12,468 domestic and 9,385 foreign) registered medical device establishements.
I'm curious: does anyone know were I can get data on the breakdown of these numbers in terms of Class 1, 2, and 3 devices?
For example, I'd be curious what the percentage of these establishments were dealing with Class II devices versus Class III version Class I (obviously there would be expected overlap, as many establishments deal with multiple product of different classes)
Anyone know where I might gather such statistics?
