I have decided to create this thread since I haven’t seen one which is related to favorite buddy at home. This is Copper he just turned another year older last week. He is a hyperactive dog who loves to occupy one of the couch at home. I am having a hard time putting him in and out of the couch so I have a attach pet stairs so that he can do it alone. Our favorite hobby is watching horror movies, but then again, he won’t be able to finish it as he will fall asleep unless he has some treats to munch on.
No pets any more. Too old and I travel. At the "ol' West Chester property" I had, over the years, a number of feral cats from time to time. I bought a heated house which held several and a heated water bowel (for the winter time) and kept 40# bags of cat food. Some have been good "birders", and some couldn't catch a bird to save their life.
I have had pets over the years, dogs and cat (only one indoor cat). My old dog "Fred" was great. Unfortunately he got out and decided to "visit a gal dog" across the road one night and "bought the farm". I have not had one since. Too much of an emotional blow to me. I cried for a few weeks. I still think of him now and again.
We have 4 cats, 2 more than planned but isn't that the way life works. All our cats are indoor only.
I would say we have a dominate female, but she has to care to be dominate. The other cats try to dominate but she just move then aside and she ignores them when they try to exert any type of dominance. It's almost comical to watch.
