Dynamic Torque Calibrations
We have many DC electric tools with internal dynamic torque transducers that we "calibrate" with an external transducer. We follow the manufacturers procedure. After talking with a couple of Calibration Suppliers and benchmarking other companies, I have been told that there is technically no traceability for dynamic torque (their is for static ex: torque wrench.) We have been advised to call this a "verification" for audit sake. Can anyone add further explanation to this and reference any documents that confirm this so that I can have this on file.
