EC Certification transfer from CMO to Legal Manufacturer Possible?

Does a Notified Body permit a IVDD IIa IIb EC Certificate to be transferred from one manufacturer to another? For example, EC Certificate originally issued to a CMO, then transfer to the legal manufacturer while the product is still made at CMO. The product has no design change, is still the identical product. It's just that the legal manufacturer now wants to be the certificate holder rather than CMO. Is this doable?
