I am in the middle of writing up 'official job descriptions' for our company as we are getting ready for AS9100 and I noticed something a bit unusual:
I am using the internet for ideas on how to phrase different job descriptions. I noticed that (on the internet) most management positions require a collage degree. However, where I work, no formal education is required (I think I am the only manager who has a collage degree and mine is an Associate of Applied Science degree).
This got me wondering:
1. Do people with degree's who get into management require other managers to have degree's because they have one?
2. Do people without degree's who get into management not require collage degree's because they DON'T have one?
3. I am over thinking this.
Do your managers have collage degree's or am I just seeing this requirement on the internet because it is the internet.
