:confused: Can I make a hand written correction to a controlled component drawing, signing and dating it and then provide the variance or ECO? Need help. Thank you

It is perfectly allowable under QS and ISO. Just make sure that your document control procedure(s) call out that it is allowed, define who is authorized to make the change and how it is to be carried out. It is actually very common to handle changes in this manner.
